On-assignment in Seville, Spain

Plaza de EspaƱa

August, 110 degrees in the shade. At least the heat was dry, and the sangria cold.

We spent a few days in and around Seville with Anthropologie for their October catalog. I was shooting behind the scenes and social media moments.

I loved the architecture of Plaza de EspaƱa and the Hotel Alfonso XIII, both built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition. Such incredible detail and wonderful colors that come to life at sunset, by day they looked almost pastel.

The Hotel Alfonso is a beautiful building with excellent service. Even if you're not staying there stop by for their incredible breakfast spread.

Check out the October catalog from Anthropologie and keep an eye out on their blog and Instagram.
