It took us 3 hours up a mangled windy road at break-neck speed to get to the rural town of Accha, population 3,000. We spend two nights and three days with the Center Yanapanakusun and 200 kids. An annual festival is taking place, this is one of the few chances these children have to be kids. Six days a week they work to help their families survive, many start as young as seven years old and have to work in far away Cuzco. The center feeds them, provides them with a place to stay and offers them an education program. More about this later
