It looks like Occupy Wall Street is back. When I was last at Zuccotti park a month ago (I was out of the country for the eviction and the entire month of Nov), I had reported on how things were falling to the pits because of an invasion of non-protestors that were taking over the Zuccotti park for it’s amenities at the time (Reporting on Occupy Wall Street 10/24/11) and diluting the protest's effectiveness. I am happy to report that the initial energy that I had found so enthralling in the budding days of Occupy Wall Street has returned to the movement. I joined them today on Canal and 6th Avenue and was witness to a movement that had not only reorganized itself, but also improved. Occupy 2.0 as it is called, found ways to earn money for the cause, disseminate information more effectively through radio and print, involve other organizations from religious orders to civil rights groups, and provide effective points of focus with public speakers, entertainment, arts etc. People are bringing in radios and amps so people can listen in to Occupy Wall Street Radio and social media is still in constant effect with laptops, audio recordings and of course lots of video and photography.

Social Media has been a major part of Occupy Wall Street

It seems that the Zuccotti eviction was the best thing that could have happened, it forced them to reorganize and clean up, as a friend of mine @MsPapic said, "If your going to show up to a revolution, show up well dressed". People of all creeds, cultures, social class, age, etc. are once again forming one voice. Lets see if they can keep the flame burning through winter and reawaken in the spring.
